Pastor Cleveland Walton was saved at age 6. He was called as a minister of the gospel at age 14 and ordained at age 18.  At the age of 21 Pastor Walton served as a missionary, teacher, & pastor in Liberia, West Africa for 1 1/2 years.

He is a godly man with an intense desire to minister to God’s people. He pastored the Fruitful Branch of Faith in Yonkers, New York for 4 years. He served as the Youth/Assistant pastor for the New Creation Tabernacle of Fellowship in Yonkers, New York, for 7 years where he was affectionately known by his young people there as “Uncle Cleve”.

Pastor Walton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from The King’s College in New York, New York. He earned a Master of Science degree in Special Education, and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership both from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Pastor Walton currently serves as the principal of J. B. Fisher Elementary School for Richmond Public Schools.

On August 26, 1995, he married his best friend of 36 years, Sobi Y. Walton, to whom he has been happily married for the past 22 years. He is the very proud father of three adult children – two wonderful sons, Cleveland Markus, and Christopher Benjamin, and one incredible daughter, Zoe Tyava.

Currently Pastor Walton serves as the Assistant Pastor at Chesapeake Christian Center under the pastorate of Pastor Orlando L. Goodhope in Chesapeake, Virginia.
